Ithaca Hummus Appoints Alyssa Bonanno as Chief Marketing Officer

Ithaca Hummusa leader in fresh, clean-ingredient dips, this week announced the addition of marketing veteran and Better Half co-founder Alyssa Bonanno as Chief Marketing Officer. Bonanno is an accomplished entrepreneur and marketer, bringing extensive experience working with fast-growing, innovative consumer products companies. In this role, Bonanno will oversee the brand’s strategic vision and support Ithaca Hummus in scaling the company, creating opportunity for the brand to have a greater positive impact on the industry and driving exponential growth.

A seasoned marketing professional with more than 12 years of experience in the media space, Bonanno previously served as one of the Creative Leads at Ralph Creative and serves as Senior Advisor & Executive Creative Director at Bilt Technologies. In 2018, she co-founded creative agency and consultancy, Better Half, where she currently serves as Chief Creative Officer. Past clients and collaborators include iconic brands like Netflix, Amazon, Nike, Disney, Spotify, Equinox, Airbnb, Vans, Match Group and more.

Bonanno’s work on the “Match Made in Hell” campaign for Match Group won several Cannes Lions, a People’s Voice Award, a Clio and a YouTube Grand Prix award. She’s particularly proud of any projects she can carry from nuts to bolts, such as her work on Future Fit, which involved collaborating with the founders and CMO to lead a massive national campaign and brand refresh. She also counted Ithaca Hummus as a client; however once the project began, Bonanno saw the brand’s potential and opportunities and knew immediately she wanted to work with them in a more impactful capacity.

Bonanno also serves as a member of the Female Founder Collective, as well as a jury member for the Webby Awards.
