The Dixie brand recently launched the “A Lot On Your Plate” contest to address everyday needs and frustrations people are experiencing during this hectic time, vowing to distribute 500 prizes to people across the 50 United States and the District of Columbia each week for eight weeks. With this program, the Dixie brand aims to take a bit of weight off inevitably full plates, to help make disrupted lives more manageable.
During the 8-week contest period, ending on July 6th, the brand will provide eight people with bespoke gifts worth up to $10,000; 300 people tailored giveaways worth up to $500; and 4,000 people $15 worth* of Dixie Products. With more people spending time at home, dishes have been piling up and people have taken to social media to express their frustration (1.67K mentions, a 27 percent increase in dish washing complaints since March, 2020 to date, sources: Sysomos, Query).
