2020 Canadian Produce Marketing Association Cancels 2020 Show
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Canadian Produce Marketing Association has canceled its 2020 convention and trade show, which would have occurred in May in Toronto.
“We appreciate that many preparations for the show are already underway, however the health and safety of CPMA members, Convention and Trade Show registrants and the general public is our paramount concern,” the CPMA said in a statement.
Exhibitors, sponsors and attendees who have already paid for the show have the option to either carry over all purchases and sponsorships to the 2021 show, receive a full 100 percent refund on ticket sales for events and passes at the show, and/or receive an 80 percent refund for exhibitors or sponsors wishing to cancel their participation in the 2020 show.
The CPMA would be contacting exhibitors and registrants in the next few weeks to address their decisions.
