Sprouts announces expansion plans for Q3
On April 4, Sprouts Farmers Market announced that it planned to open 13 new locations in Q3 of 2018. The new stores will take the grocery retailer to new states such as Pennsylvania and Washington, while building on its presence in Florida, Maryland and North Carolina. By the end of Q3, the company expects to have a presence in 19 states across the US.
“As we continue to enter new markets, we’re pleased with the customer response to Sprouts’ unique combination of health and value,” said Sprouts Chief Development Officer Ted Frumkin. “We’re looking forward to bringing healthy living for less to new neighbors in Philadelphia and the Mill Creek area of Seattle later this year,” Frumkin said.
The company expects to add 140 career opportunities to the neighborhoods it opens its stores in.
