PorkRinds.com celebrates University of Michigan Defensive End, TJ Guy, with their first 2025 “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” award

PorkRinds.com, the nation’s premier destination for pork rind lovers, has named its first “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” in the brand’s third annual campaign and the Week 1 honor goes to TJ Guy, senior edge rusher for the University of Michigan Wolverines. New this year, PorkRinds.com is partnering with the Archer Foundation to raise awareness and funds for pediatric brain cancer through the “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” campaign.

Guy’s “Crunch Time” interception in the second quarter helped propel the Wolverines to a 34-17 victory over the University of New Mexico Lobos. His heads-up play secured the inaugural “Crunch Time Hero” nod of the season.

Fans can see Guy’s celebratory post soon on the @porkrindsdotcom Instagram account. For a limited two-week window, PorkRinds.com will donate $1 per share to the Archer Foundation, a nonprofit supporting families impacted by DIPG, an aggressive form of pediatric brain cancer.

At the end of the season, the “Crunch Time Hero” whose post earns the most shares during their two-week window will be recognized with the crunchiest accolade in all of sports, the “Crunch Time Hero of the Year” award. This winner will receive a year’s supply of pork rinds, an exclusive PorkRinds.com prize and will represent PorkRinds.com at Radio Row ahead of the biggest football game of 2026 in San Francisco.

Fans can share Guy’s post during a limited period to drive Archer Foundation donations and boost his bid for “Crunch Time Hero of the Year.”

The “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” campaign runs through Nov. 28, after which PorkRinds.com will crown this season’s “Crunch Time Hero of the Year.”
