PorkRinds.com celebrates Oklahoma University Defensive Lineman R Mason Thomas, with the “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” Award for Week 4

PorkRinds.com, the nation’s premier destination for pork rind lovers, has named its “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” for Week 4. Taking the honors this week is R Mason Thomas, senior defensive lineman for the Oklahoma University Sooners. Fans can vote for Thomas to be “Crunch Time Hero of the Year” by sharing his Instagram post on @porkrindsdotcom, while also supporting pediatric brain cancer awareness through PorkRinds.com’s partnership with the Archer Foundation.

Thomas delivered a clutch fourth-quarter sack against the Auburn University Tigers, forcing a safety in a nail-biting SEC matchup. His game-changing play secured the win for his team and earned him Crunch Time Hero of the Week honors for Week 4.

Fans can see Thomas’s “Crunch Time Hero” post on the @porkrindsdotcom Instagram account. From Sept. 25 until Oct. 9, PorkRinds.com will donate $1 per share to the Archer Foundation, a nonprofit supporting families impacted by DIPG, an aggressive form of pediatric brain cancer.

At the end of the season, the “Crunch Time Hero” whose post earns the most shares during their two-week window will be recognized with the crunchiest accolade in all of sports, the “Crunch Time Hero of the Year” award. This winner will receive a year’s supply of pork rinds, an exclusive PorkRinds.com prize and will represent PorkRinds.com at Radio Row ahead of the biggest football game of 2026 in San Francisco.
Fans can share Thomas’s post Sept. 25-Oct. 9 to drive Archer Foundation donations and boost his bid for “Crunch Time Hero of the Year.”

The “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” campaign runs through November 28, after which PorkRinds.com will crown this season’s “Crunch Time Hero of the Year.” See the shareable “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” posts on Instagram @porkrindsdotcom and follow all the action this season at PorkRinds.com.
