Del Fresco Pure® Celebrates 70 Years at the 2026 Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) Convention and Trade Show with Bold Innovation and a “Welcome to Nonna’s House” Experience

Sustainable packaging debut, 3-pack organic English Seedless cucumbers, custom collaborations and a star-studded booth featuring Logan Moffitt

Del Fresco Pure® is proud to mark a major milestone at the 2026Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) Convention and Trade Show—celebrating 70 years of greenhouse growing excellence. This year’s presence blends heritage, innovation, and culture under thetheme: “Welcome to Nonna’s House.”

At booth #1631, attendees are invited to step into a warm, nostalgic Italian kitchen experience inspired by Nonna’s welcoming home, where the table is always set, the kitchen is always full of life, and every guest istreated like family. The space honours the company’s roots while showcasing the future of fresh produce, bringing together tradition, comfort, and innovation under one roof.

Innovation Meets Sustainability

As part of its continued commitment to sustainable packaging solutions, Del Fresco Pure® will unveil its new sustainable top seal for The Original Cherry Tomatoes on the Vine, designed to significantly reduce plastic use while maintaining the freshness, protection, and premium shelf appeal consumers expect. The updated design supports improved recyclability and reflects the company’s ongoing focus on reducing environmental impact across its packaging portfolio, without compromising quality or product integrity from greenhouse to shelf.

The company is also launching its King Pack, 3-pack Organic English Seedless Cucumbers, a larger-format offering designed for the way people snack, share, and entertain today. Built for high-consumption households, the King Pack brings together value, convenience, and versatility in one simple grab-and-go format—perfect for everything from the Logan inspired cucumber salads to family platters and hosting DelFrescoPure.com moments – because sometimes one cucumber isn’t enough – you need three. It also reflects a smarterapproach to packaging efficiency, helping reduce overall waste through optimized sizing and a better product-to-package ratio, without compromising on freshness or greenhouse-grown quality. In short, it’s more cucumbers, less hassle, and an easier way to keep fresh eating front and centre.

“Both of these innovations reflect who we are as growers—always looking forward, but never losing sight of quality, sustainability, and care for the end consumer,” said Ray Mastronardi, President, Del Fresco Pure®. “Every decision we make in packaging and product development starts in the greenhouse and ends at the kitchen table.”

Celebrating Culture, Community & a Viral Movement

Building on the cultural impact of fresh, simple ingredients and the global excitement sparked by the cucumber salad trend, Del Fresco Pure®—together with brand ambassador Logan Moffitt—is proud to officially announce the launch of National Cucumber Salad Day, taking place annually on July 8.

Inspired by the viral movement led by Logan himself, the day celebrates the creativity, simplicity, andcultural moment that turned the humble cucumber salad into a social media phenomenon. The inauguralcelebration honours the anniversary of the original post that ignited the craze, cementing cucumbers as astaple of modern, accessible, and endlessly customizable eating. “I’ve always been a HUGE fan of produce, and cucumbers. Seeing so many people online getting excited about eating cucumbers just like I am mademe so happy. I think cucumbers are one of the most versatile vegetables which is what makes it so perfect for any variation of cucumber salad!” Said Logan Moffitt.

To bring the movement to life at CPMA 2026, Logan Moffitt will appear at the booth on Day 1, April 29, connecting with attendees, sharing his signature cucumber creations, and celebrating the community thathelped turn a simple idea into a global food moment.

“National Cucumber Salad Day is a perfect example of how food can bring people together in unexpected and meaningful ways,” said Jamie D’Alimonte. “What started as a simple, creative idea has become acultural moment—and we’re proud to help celebrate and grow that movement alongside Logan and our retail partners.”

A True Family Affair

In keeping with the “Welcome to Nonna’s House” theme, Day 2 – April 30 will lean fully into the heart offamily, tradition, and the kind of hospitality that feels like walking into Nonna’s kitchen on a Sunday afternoon.

Special appearances from beloved personalities will bring that spirit to life on the show floor, including:

From shared recipes and generational food traditions to light-hearted storytelling and cultural pride, guests will be welcomed into an atmosphere that feels less like a trade show booth and morelike a lively family gathering.

It’s a celebration of where food begins—at home, around the table—and the people who keep those traditions alive.

“CPMA has always been about connection—but this year, it truly feels like we’re inviting people into our home,” said Sonia Klinger, Del Fresco Pure®. “‘Nonna’s House’ is more than a theme; it’s a feeling ofwarmth, family, and sharing that we’re proud to bring to life on the show floor.”
