The Global Produce & Floral Show Preview – Online Exclusive
Produce suppliers are excited to attend this year’s Global Produce & Floral Show. They look forward to showcasing their latest varieties and snacking innovations to industry peers. The event provides a platform to share their programs and ideas, as well as connect with retailers to drive category growth.
The 2026 Global Produce & Floral Show will mark WHOLLY GUACAMOLE’s 26th year participating in the show.
“As the produce industry’s premier annual gathering, the show provides a valuable opportunity for us to connect with customers, strengthen industry relationships, stay ahead of emerging trends, and showcase innovation,” said Chris Monahan, Senior Brand Manager of WHOLLY brand. “It brings together leaders from across the produce supply chain, making it an important platform for collaboration, learning, and growth.”
“It continues to be one of the most valuable opportunities on our calendar,” shared Tara Murray, VP of Marketing for ¡Yo Quiero!, which has participated since 2008. “There are very few places where we can have intentional time with retail buyers, media and retail dietitians all under one roof. For us, it’s about more than exhibiting products. It’s an opportunity to strengthen relationships, introduce people to what’s new and have meaningful conversations about where the category is headed. We’ve always been a brand focused on innovation, so having the industry together in one place gives us an incredible platform to bring those ideas to life.”
“As one of North America’s premier produce industry events, GPFS provides an invaluable opportunity to connect with our customers, industry partners, and prospective customers in one place for the exchange of ideas, emerging trends and challenges, and the innovation to move our industry forward,” said Leona Neill, Director of Marketing & Packaging for Red Sun Farms, returning for its 16th year.
“NatureSweet has had the privilege of supporting and attending the Global Produce & Floral Show for over three decades,” commented Commercial Assistant Manager, Daniela Franco. “In the ever-changing field of fresh produce, we know how important it is to keep interpersonal relationships alive. This show gives us the opportunity to reconnect with our customers, industry peers, and partners, creating lasting relationships that build solid foundations to continue our mission of transforming the lives of agricultural workers. Year after year we gain valuable insight, and it allows us to show our customers what’s next in the fresh produce segment.”
Superfresh Growers has participated in The Global Produce & Floral Show for over 40 years, and the show “continues to be one of the most valuable opportunities to connect with the produce industry in one place,” remarked Marketing Coordinator, Julieta Castillo. “Bringing together retail partners, industry colleagues, growers, and other leaders gives us the opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, learn what is working across the industry, and have meaningful conversations about the year ahead.”
“It is also an important opportunity for Superfresh Growers to showcase what we have been working on, including our organic Orchard Buddies program, new marketing initiatives, and innovations across our growing and packing operations,” Castillo continued. “There is tremendous value in having those conversations face-to-face, especially as we work alongside our retail partners to identify opportunities, plan future programs, and ultimately find ways to grow the produce category together.”
Suppliers across categories are excited to debut and promote new varieties, unexpected flavors, and creative ways to prepare and enjoy their produce in different formats.
“At this year’s show, we’re excited to showcase our new WHOLLY GUACAMOLE and WHOLLY AVOCADO Squeeze Pouches, which rolled out regionally beginning in late August,” Monahan said. “Available in 10 oz. pouches, the lineup includes Mild Guacamole, Spicy Jalapeño Guacamole, and Avocado with Sea Salt. These products make it easier than ever for consumers to enjoy avocado and guacamole as part of their daily routines by dispensing only the amount they need each time. Whether adding avocado to sandwiches, toast, salads, wraps, or using guacamole as a condiment on other everyday meals, the squeeze pouch format delivers convenience, versatility, and reduced food waste.”
“We’ll be showcasing our full lineup of fresh dips, with a special emphasis on some of the areas where we’re seeing incredible excitement, including our Mexico Inspired line and Jalapeño dips,” Murray said. “Attendees will also have the opportunity to taste several of our award-winning products across guacamole, queso and our newest dip offerings. Innovation is a huge part of who we are as a brand, so we’re also working on some things we hope to share more about as we get closer to the show.”
“2026 will be an exciting year for the Red Sun Farms team at GPFS,” Neill commented. “Our Innovation Lab will showcase the latest varietal and product innovations that have been carefully curated for customers to experience, evaluate, and provide feedback.
Our goal is to go beyond simply showcasing what’s new. We want to bring retailers into the development process so their insights and shoppers’ needs help influence what comes next. By challenging traditional expectations around flavor, texture, quality, and the overall eating experience, we believe we can create products that bring renewed excitement and growth to the fresh produce category.”
“NatureSweet will have some exciting things to share at this year’s show!” Franco shared. “Attendees can expect to see how we’re continuing to bring more personality and joy to the produce aisle through our refreshed packaging and new characters across the NatureSweet portfolio. We’ll also be showcasing our growing snacking lineup and how we’re making fresh, flavorful produce an even easier choice for today’s consumers. We look forward to giving attendees a taste of what’s next from NatureSweet, and we encourage visitors to come see us at our booth.”
“Superfresh Growers is always looking for ways to turn new ideas into meaningful programs for our retail partners, and we are excited to share several of those developments at this year’s Global Produce & Floral Show,” Castillo shared. “Alongside our high-quality fruit and core apple and pear varieties, we will showcase the continued evolution of Orchard Buddies, including new ways to extend the program beyond packaged fruit into the bulk apple and pear category. This creates another opportunity for retailers to bring the colorful characters, orchard storytelling, and family-friendly messaging of Orchard Buddies to life throughout the produce department. Attendees will also get a sneak peek at an upcoming consumer marketing campaign centered around fiber and the growing conversation around gut health. Apples and pears are naturally positioned to be part of that conversation, and we see an exciting opportunity to connect their nutritional benefits with a topic that is already gaining attention among consumers. Both initiatives reflect what we want to bring to our retail partners: creative, relevant ways to engage today’s shopper, build excitement in the produce department, and ultimately encourage greater apple and pear consumption.”
“This year, we’re putting the spotlight on some of the varieties and programs that demonstrate what Honeybear does best—bringing differentiated fruit and compelling marketing programs to the category,” Chuck Sinks, President of Sales and Marketing, shared. “We’ll feature Pazazz, First Kiss, Honeymoon and Honeycrisp, along with other key offerings across our apple, pear and cherry portfolio. We’re also taking a fun, highly interactive approach to the show with our ‘Produce Superhero’ concept. Attendees can discover their own produce-superhero identity based on the traits they bring to the table and see which Honeybear variety best matches their superpowers. It’s a playful way to engage people while reinforcing the real strengths behind our varieties and our brand, while giving produce professionals the superhero recognition they deserve.”
“At this year’s show, we’re excited to spotlight Happi Pears through our booth, the Fresh Ideas Showcase, and our State of the Industry breakfast sponsorship video featuring the “Pick Your Happi” campaign,” remarked Auna Lundberg, Sr. Marketing Manager for Stemilt Growers. “Happi Pears are bringing new excitement to the pear category with their unique ability to be enjoyed green or yellow, delivering a sweet, bright flavor experience that appeals to today’s consumers.”
“We’re also reintroducing our Prism Pear program in a new pouch bag format,” Lundberg continued. “By combining multiple pear varieties in one convenient package, Prism Pears offer strong visual appeal, encourage shopper discovery, and create new opportunities to drive category growth.”
Exhibitors outlined their goals for this year’s show.
“Our primary goal is to connect with as many customers and industry partners as possible while showcasing our latest innovations and sharing insights into the refrigerated guacamole and avocado categories,” Monahan commented. “As America’s No. 1 refrigerated guacamole brand, we’ve recently focused on positioning guacamole and avocado products as everyday refrigerator essentials, delivering the convenience and reliability consumers expect from a true condiment. Innovations like our Guacamole and Avocado Squeeze Pouches are designed to bring fresh excitement and stand out in the category. We look forward to discussing key category trends, growth opportunities, and the solutions we are developing to help retailers drive sales and meet evolving consumer needs. As always, our booth will offer our fan-favorite “Guac Dogs,” which have become a tradition at the show. Combined with our newest product innovations and category expertise, we plan to make the WHOLLY GUACAMOLE booth a must-visit destination for attendees.”
“Our biggest goal is connection,” Murray said. “We want buyers, media partners and retail dietitians to experience the energy behind the ¡Yo Quiero! brand, taste the products and leave with a better understanding of where we’re taking the category next.
Our booth will absolutely reflect that. ¡Yo Quiero! is all about bringing fun, unexpected flavors to life, so we want the space itself to be an eye-catcher and feel just as vibrant as the products we’re serving. Beyond sampling our lineup and highlighting innovation, we’ll also be hosting retail dietitians again this year. That activation was extremely successful last year, and several dietitians told us it was a highlight of their experience at the show. We’re excited to build on that momentum and create another memorable experience.”
“Red Sun Farms Booth will be an experiential visit and we’re keeping a few surprises under wraps until the show,” Neill said. “Attendees can expect a fresh focus that brings together innovation, new varietal trends, and a closer look at what makes Red Sun Farms unique.
Our Seed to Plate philosophy and the values that guide our business begin with our people and flow through our process. From selecting the right varieties through growing, harvesting, packing, and distribution, our vertically integrated approach gives us greater visibility and accountability throughout the journey. We’re excited to show customers how that commitment translates into freshness, flavor, quality, and innovation.”
“Our goal this year is to give attendees a closer look at how NatureSweet continues to bring excitement and innovation to the produce aisle,” Franco said. “And our booth will be hard to miss! From our refreshed packaging and new brand characters to continued innovation across our snacking portfolio, our booth will showcase how we’re making fresh produce more engaging, convenient and enjoyable for consumers. Just as important, the show gives us an opportunity to connect with our industry partners, exchange ideas and gain insights into emerging trends and opportunities. Those conversations and relationships help us continue to evolve, innovate and position NatureSweet for future growth, while giving attendees a taste of what’s next.”
“Our goal for this year’s show is to make the most of having so many of our retail partners and industry colleagues together in one place,” Castillo with Superfresh Growers commented. “The Global Produce & Floral Show gives us an opportunity to strengthen those relationships and have meaningful conversations about the year ahead, share ideas and resources, and drive growth across our commodities.”
“We want our booth to be more than a place to see great fruit,” she continued. “This year, attendees will get a closer look at how Superfresh Growers is connecting our products with today’s consumers, from the continued evolution of Orchard Buddies into new areas of the produce department to a first look at our upcoming fiber focused campaign, which we hope to partner with retailers on.”
“We also want retailers to stop by and learn how category data can become a valuable tool for their business,” she added. “Trisha Casper, our dedicated category data expert, will be at the show to walk retailers through the insights available to them and demonstrate how data can help identify opportunities within their individual markets, from assortment and SKU mix to packaging, promotions, pricing, and changing consumer purchasing behavior. Having that expertise and access to category insights is another advantage we can bring to the table as a retail partner. Ultimately, we want people to leave our booth with more than a conversation. We want them to leave with fresh ideas, actionable insights, and a better understanding of the resources Superfresh Growers can provide to help grow their business throughout the year.”
Monahan said three major trends will drive trade show conversations this year: fiber, customization, and portable packaging.
He said: “Fiberlayering” Takes Off: Driven by the “fibermaxxing” movement, consumers are seeking convenient ways to boost their daily fiber intake. Pre-packaged, single-serve options offer a stress-free solution. Positioned directly in the produce aisle, sealed WHOLLY products serve as an easy anchor for fiberlayering, adding mini fiber boosts throughout the day rather than relying on heavy meals. A WHOLLY AVOCADO mini-cup delivers 3g of dietary fiber (11% DV) with zero prep friction, slicing, or preservatives added, thanks to High-Pressure Processing (HPP) technology.
Demand for Customization: Busy schedules demand versatility. While some shoppers want fully prepared, homemade-style dips like WHOLLY GUACAMOLE, DIY enthusiasts prefer assembling their own. That’s why we created NEW WHOLLY AVOCADO Smashed 8oz bowls, a simple, versatile base made with 100% real Hass avocados that’s ready whenever inspiration strikes.
Portable Packaging: Consumer diets are increasingly “snackified,” raising demand for portion-controlled, mess-free solutions. Research from Towards Packaging shows consumers will pay a 10% to 50% premium for convenient, fresh packaging, driving major growth in single-serve formats through 2034. WHOLLY’s 2oz mini cups meet this need for active, on-the-go lifestyles.”
“Flavor and innovation will continue to be major conversations,” Murray remarked. “Consumers want familiar favorites, but they’re also increasingly interested in discovering new flavors and finding products that make everyday eating a little more exciting. That creates a lot of opportunity in fresh dips because the category can move beyond the traditional chip-and-dip occasion. We’re also seeing the lines between snacking and meal occasions continue to blur. A great dip can be a snack, a topping, a spread or an easy way to add flavor to a meal. I think retailers will be looking closely at brands that can bring new consumers into the category, create additional usage occasions and give shoppers a reason to keep coming back to the refrigerated set.”
“Quality and value remain top of mind, but today’s customers and consumers expect both without compromising flavor, freshness, or year-round availability,” Neill with Red Sun Farms explained. “At the same time, minimizing food waste and delivering products that create a consistent positive eating experience are an absolute must to gain consumer confidence. Innovation has always been and will continue to be a significant part of the conversation as the industry looks for new ways to engage consumers and drive incremental category growth. While sustainability may not be generating the same headlines in 2026, expectations continue to advance through retailer programs and evolving regulatory requirements. Our team continues to evaluate material and packaging innovations with a focus on finding solutions that balance sustainability, cost, functionality, food waste, and product quality.”
“We expect convenience and snacking to continue driving a lot of conversation this year, particularly as consumers look for fresh foods that fit easily into busy lifestyles without sacrificing flavor or quality,” Franco with NatureSweet said. “We’re also seeing greater emphasis on innovation, differentiation and creating stronger connections with consumers in the produce aisle. For NatureSweet, that means continuing to think beyond the traditional produce experience, from expanding our snacking portfolio to using packaging, storytelling and our new brand characters to make fresh produce more approachable, engaging and fun. Ultimately, it’s about giving consumers more reasons to choose fresh produce and making it easier for them to Taste All the Good.”
Educating shoppers is essential to helping them understand why premium produce costs more, especially during times when budgets are tight.
“Premium varieties will without a doubt be a big part of the conversation,” Jim Roberts, President of Naturipe Farms, commented. “We’ve seen that shoppers are willing to spend more on premium produce when they know the quality matches the price, and blueberries keep getting better and better. There’s a real opportunity to turn more shoppers into repeat buyers by giving them a consistently great eating experience. We truly want to deliver an elevated eating experience across all of the Naturipe family of products.”
He added, “We’ll also continue to see a focus on innovation within the snacking category. Shoppers want healthy, convenient ways to snack throughout the day without having to compromise on quality or flavor. Products like SnackBites and Berry Buddies fill that gap, and we’re excited to keep building on that part of our portfolio.”
Apple and pear growers predict discussions at the show will center on offering consumers affordable options, product differentiation and healthier, better-for-you snacking choices.
“We expect the conversation of convenience, functional nutrition, and perceived value to continue driving the show this year,” Castillo with Superfresh Growers shared. “As household budgets tighten, consumers are becoming more intentional about how they spend their grocery dollars, but they are not willing to sacrifice quality and nutrition. They are looking for foods that are affordable, easy to incorporate into everyday routines, and offer recognizable health benefits. Every commodity we grow is well positioned within each of these trends. Apples, pears, cherries, blueberries, and apricots are naturally portable, require little to no preparation, provide fiber, and offer versatility across snacking, lunchboxes, and meals. The long shelf life of apples and pears adds even more value by giving consumers more time to enjoy the fruit and reduce food waste, while our summer commodities bring seasonal excitement and variety to the produce department with the same functional nutrition.”
“For retailers, the opportunity lies in offering convenient pack sizes, maintaining strong quality, and using clear, approachable messaging that helps shoppers understand the nutritional and everyday value of fruit,” she continued. “That is something we’re excited to support through our new fiber-forward campaign, which will give retailers resources they can use to connect with shoppers and bring greater attention to the benefits of apples and pears.”
“We expect conversations to center around value, differentiation and health,” Sinks commented. “Consumers are still looking closely at their grocery budgets, so retailers need products that deliver a strong value proposition while giving shoppers a reason to choose one item over another. At the same time, consumers are increasingly interested in foods that support wellness in a simple, recognizable way. That creates a tremendous opportunity for fresh fruit. Apples and pears naturally fit conversations around fiber, nutrition and nutrient density without requiring shoppers to decipher a complicated ingredient list. We also expect continued interest in varietal differentiation and premium eating experiences. Consumers are willing to explore new varieties when retailers give them a reason to try them—and when the eating experience delivers.”
“We expect health, convenience, and value to remain key themes across the produce industry this year,” Lundberg with Stemilt Growers explained. “Consumers are increasingly looking for flavorful, nutritious foods that support wellness and fit their everyday routines. We’re seeing strong momentum behind Organic Cosmic Crisp apples, creating exciting opportunities for premium organic promotions and category growth. We’re also continuing to see interest in trends like “fiber-maxing,” which align naturally with fresh fruit’s nutritional benefits. Together, these trends reinforce the importance of delivering products that combine great taste, convenience, and value for today’s shoppers.”
“Sustainable packaging is top of mind, from bags and nets to tags,” Weingart with Peri & Sons shared. “Buyers want less plastic without sacrificing freshness or shelf appeal, and packaging that travels well and withstands transportation. That balance is exactly what we’ve focused on with our Earthbag packaging for our organic onions, and we’re continuing to explore more plastic-free options for the future.”
Year-round supply continues to create opportunities for retailers to serve consumers better, and category leaders are eager to demonstrate how they can deliver consistently.
“Year-round supply is going to dominate,” Bland said. “Retailers have figured out that consumers don’t want sweet onions for three months; they want them whenever they’re cooking, and the conversation is shifting toward which suppliers can actually deliver that consistently, and at the quality shoppers expect. Because Bland Farms owns and operates its own fields in Peru rather than contracting them out, we have full control over how the crop is grown and full transparency into every step. That’s a different conversation than buying onions and selling them. Storage and shipping capacity is the piece underneath that conversation. Bland Farms stores nearly half of the Vidalias stored industry-wide, and we have the largest refrigerated storage capacity in the Vidalia industry, which is what allows us to ship further into the season than anyone else.”
“Consumers are looking for ways to stretch their grocery dollars to continue incorporating fresh produce into their daily meals,” Shuman remarked. “Value and versatility drive much of the conversation, and sweet onions provide both. Our sweet onion brands capture shoppers’ attention with bright colors and bold, succinct messaging, while our packaging, POS, and digital messaging aim to take the guesswork out of everyday meals with storage and prep tips and meal ideas.”
Suppliers are committed to ensuring their product offerings align with what consumers are attracted to during shopping trips.
“Today’s consumers are driving two major shifts at the perimeter of the store: a demand for easy meal prep options at home and for convenient, versatile packaging formats,” Monahan explained. “The WHOLLY brand is directly addressing these needs by expanding beyond our popular single-serve 2oz minis into high-value household formats.
New to the brand’s lineup are family-size 8oz bowls of WHOLLY Smashed Avocado, originally solely available in mini single-serve cups. Made with 100% real Hass avocados, WHOLLY Smashed Avocado delivers convenient access to perfectly ripe avocado, ready to be enjoyed as a dip, spread, or topper. Naturally gluten-free, non-GMO, kosher, and keto-friendly, it’s perfect for whipping up quick avocado toast, swapping out mayonnaise on sandwiches and burgers, or topping salads, chili, and grain bowls. Launching this fall, our new WHOLLY GUACAMOLE and AVOCADO Squeeze Pouches reframe avocado from a traditional dip into an everyday household staple. By scaling into multi-serve bowls and squeezable formats, we are meeting shoppers where they are, making real avocado an effortless addition to daily meals, snacks, and entertaining.”
“Shoppers are looking for convenience without sacrificing flavor, and that’s really where ¡Yo Quiero! shines,” Murray remarked. “They want products that feel fresh and easy but still bring something exciting to the table. Our lineup gives people trusted favorites like guacamole, salsa, and queso while also introducing more adventurous flavor experiences through products like our Mexico-inspired and Jalapeño dips. We’re also intentional about creating products that can fit into multiple occasions throughout the day. These aren’t dips that have to wait for a party or game day—they can elevate a quick lunch, become part of a weeknight dinner, or simply make an afternoon snack more interesting. That versatility, combined with continued flavor innovation, is a big part of what we believe today’s shopper is looking for.”
“Consumers are looking for more value in their purchases; they want fresh produce that delivers a memorable eating experience and consistent quality,” Neill with Red Sun Farms said. “One of our signature favorites continues to be Sweetpops tomatoes, known for their distinctive sweetness and unique crunch. We’re also seeing growing excitement around Empress Limited Edition Tomatoes, as well as our relaunched Chef’s Collection, a unique blend curated for natural sweetness, crisp texture, and vibrant color. These products reflect unique flavors, textures, and experiences that create excitement at shelf, encourage trial, and ultimately give consumers more reasons to come back to fresh produce.”
“Consumers are increasingly looking for fresh, flavorful options that are convenient and fit naturally into their everyday routines, and our portfolio reflects that shift,” Franco with NatureSweet explained. “NatureSweet has long been a leader in snacking tomatoes, and we’re continuing to build on that strength by expanding our snacking offerings and giving consumers more variety across the produce aisle. Whether it’s tomatoes, cucumbers or sweet peppers, our focus is on delivering great flavor, freshness and convenient options that make it easier to choose fresh produce for snacking, meals and everything in between. Ultimately, we want to meet consumers where they are and give them more ways to Taste All The Good.”
Onion suppliers are committed to curating a product selection that aligns with current consumer preferences and values at retail.
“Consumers are gravitating toward onions with standout flavor and packaging they feel good about,” Weingart with Peri & Sons commented. “Sweetie Sweet and our full organic line deliver on taste, while Earthbag packaging, which is plastic-free, compostable, and recyclable, meets the demand for more sustainable choices on the shelf.”
Onion suppliers are attentive to consumers’ shopping and cooking habits and are simplifying the process of storing and preparing their preferred produce at home.
“Consumers are cooking more from scratch and reading labels harder than they used to,” Bland said. “Sweet onions land well in that environment. No sodium added, no sugar added, naturally sweet, and versatile enough to go raw on a sandwich or low and slow in a braise. The bag business tells the same story. Bland Farms has doubled bagged onion production over the past five years because shoppers are buying more onion at once, not less. That’s a household that’s cooking, and it’s why we’ve built the supply program to keep them stocked all year rather than for one season. Sand Candy Sweet Potatoes fit the same consumer profile. Nutrient-dense, naturally sweet, gluten-free, and one of the strongest-performing categories in produce right now. Per capita sweet potato consumption has nearly doubled over the past two decades, and shoppers are using them well beyond the holiday table. Supply has been tight across the category this year, which makes consistent year-round volume a real advantage heading into the season. Vidalia Brands takes it a step further. Dressings, seasonings, chow chow, relish, and onion blossom batter mix are all built around the same sweet onion flavor consumers already trust. It’s the shopper who loves the onion looking for more ways to use it, and it lets retailers extend a produce relationship into other parts of the store.”
Apple growers’ offerings align with what matters most to consumers, whether it’s nutrition, convenience or innovative formats and flavor pairings.
“Superfresh Growers’ entire commodity lineup is well-positioned for what consumers are gravitating toward, both online and in stores,” Castillo said. “Across social media, we continue to see interest in simple, whole-food eating, fiber and gut health, balanced snacking, and convenient foods that make healthier choices easier. Consumers are also looking for value, quality, and versatility.”
“Apples, pears, cherries, blueberries, and apricots naturally align with those priorities,” she continued. “They are colorful, approachable, and easy to enjoy on their own, while also fitting into popular recipes, snack plates, lunchboxes, smoothies, and meal-prep ideas. Apples and pears offer portability, fiber, and a longer shelf life, helping consumers get more value from their purchase. Our summer commodities add seasonal excitement and give shoppers more ways to bring fresh fruit into their routines.”
“Offering fruit across bulk, packaged, organic, and family-friendly formats also allows us to meet different shopping occasions and household needs,” she added. “Our products don’t need to be reinvented to fit today’s healthy-eating conversation; they already offer nutrition, convenience, and versatility consumers are actively seeking.”
“Our portfolio reflects the fact that consumers want fresh food that delivers on taste, value, convenience and wellness,” Sinks explained. “That is where Honeybear sees significant opportunity in apples, pears and cherries. Our differentiated varieties, including Pazazz, First Kiss and Honeymoon, give shoppers something beyond the traditional apple assortment, while our conventional and organic programs allow retailers to meet different shopper needs and price points. We also put a strong emphasis on packaging and marketing because a great product still needs to capture attention at shelf. Ultimately, we believe fresh fruit is exceptionally well positioned for today’s consumer. It is familiar, affordable, nutritious and convenient—and Honeybear’s role is to help retailers make those benefits more visible and more compelling to shoppers.”
“Consumer demand continues to center on flavor, convenience, and wellness, and we’re focused on delivering solutions that meet those expectations while driving category growth,” Lundberg with Stemilt Growers shared. “Programs like Lil Snappers make fresh fruit more accessible for busy families through convenient, healthy snacking options available across both conventional and organic apples and pears.”
Naturipe Farms’ current range of fresh and frozen berries reflects the products that consumers are increasingly drawn to in stores.
“There are so many options when you walk into a grocery store today, and people don’t want to have to overthink every purchase,” Roberts commented. “They’re looking for approachable, healthy, high-quality options that taste great and don’t come with an ingredient list a mile long. That’s exactly why we continue to invest in premium varieties and value-added snacks that give people more ways to enjoy berries while still fitting naturally into their day-to-day lives.”
With consumers looking for more value, convenience and better-for-you options, produce brands are finding new ways to make fresh foods stand out. At this year’s Global Produce & Floral Show, those ideas will be on full display as suppliers look to turn changing shopper priorities into fresh opportunities across the department.
