Chef Boyardee Returns to NASCAR at Bristol Motor Speedway

Chef Boyardee’s newest innovations, Protein & Skillet Meals, featured on the No. 47 Chevrolet at Bristol

Chef Boyardee will once again be sponsoring the No. 47 Chevrolet, driven by Ricky Stenhouse Jr. at the upcoming Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway this September. While previously serving as a primary sponsor of the No. 47 Chevrolet at marquee NASCAR events earlier this year, including the Daytona 500, Talladega, and the NASCAR Clash, this marks the first time Chef Boyardee will serve as a primary sponsor during the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs. Bristol Motor Speedway has historically been a strong track for Ricky Stenhouse Jr., making this sponsorship opportunity especially exciting for the brand.

The No. 47 Chevrolet will feature a new Chef Boyardee paint scheme highlighting two of the brand’s newest innovations: Chef Boyardee Protein and Chef Boyardee Skillets, both available nationwide.

“We can’t wait to get our new Chef Boyardee paint scheme under the lights at Bristol. We look forward to giving Ricky a ravioli shower in victory lane, or maybe spaghetti and meatballs, we will just see have to see how the night goes.” said Dan Anglemyer, COO & CMO at Hometown Food Company. “Thanks and a big shout out to our fans for supporting Ricky and the 47 team. We hope you pick up our new products at local grocery stores. Check out our paint job for a hint on where to find them!”

Bristol marks the latest chapter in Chef Boyardee’s growing partnership with KHI Management and Hyak Motorsports. Throughout the 2026 season, the brand has connected with NASCAR fans through primary sponsorships of the No. 47 Chevrolet at some of the sport’s most recognizable races, bringing Chef Boyardee to millions of racing enthusiasts nationwide. Building on that momentum, the partnership has been extended through the 2028 season, with Chef Boyardee serving as a primary sponsor for six NASCAR Cup Series races annually, including marquee events such as the Daytona 500 and Talladega.

The Bristol sponsorship also reflects Hometown Food Company’s continued investment in the iconic Chef Boyardee brand through expanded marketing efforts, consumer engagement, and product innovation. Chef Boyardee Protein, launched last month, delivers 25+ grams of protein per can across fan-favorite varieties, while Chef Boyardee Skillet Meals, launched this Spring, offers consumers a convenient meal solution inspired by familiar Italian flavors. Together, the two innovations represent Chef Boyardee’s commitment to delivering new offerings that meet evolving consumer needs, while staying true to the flavors families know and love.
