Smart & Final Kicks Off Annual Fundraiser for Olive Crest
Smart & Final, the grocery warehouse store for household and business customers, announces its annual in-store fundraiser for Olive Crest, an organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and treating and educating at-risk children. From now until July 7, customers at every Smart & Final location can donate, with all proceeds going directly to Olive Crest, in order to benefit at-risk and neglected children. This year, customers who donate at least $5 will receive a $5 off $25 coupon good for their next in store purchase at Smart & Final between July 8 and July 14.
“During these challenging times, our partnership with Olive Crest to support kids and provide them loving homes takes on a whole new level of importance,” said Deb Bell-Versluis, Director, Smart & Final Charitable Foundation. “This is why we’re offering a $5 off $25 bounce back coupon when a customer donates at least $5, provided and paid for by Smart & Final, so that every penny can go toward putting smiles on the faces of Olive Crest kids.”
Olive Crest provides services to more than 24,000 children and families each year, including providing loving homes, counseling and education for them and their families. A decade-long supporter of the organization, the Smart & Final Charitable Foundation provides cash donations and gift cards to Olive Crest each year, with last year’s mobile campaign raising $465,000.

With no school or childcare centers, hospitals are reporting record highs for child abuse. We thank them so much for being a champion for our kiddos.”
In 2019, the Charitable Foundation raised $1.8 million to support nearly 3,000 causes with the help of Smart & Final customers and store associates.
