Changes at Co-Operative Group
A new pet buyer has been named at The Co-Operative Group.
Sally Bentley has stepped in as the food retailer’s newest buyer. She replaces Nicci Townsley.
Based out of Manchester, The Co-Operative Group Ltd., is the United Kingdom’s fifth largest grocery retailer. The company recently opened its 83rd food store this year as part of its long-term program to expand The Co-Operative’s food retailer footprint.
Established in 1863, the Co-Operative Group encompasses farming, food and drug stores, travel agencies, banking, insurance, financial and legal services, and funerals.
The Food Co-Operatives top competitors include retailers J. Sainsbury, ASDA Group Limited and Tesco.
