Chef’s Life Debuts New Line of Cooking Oil Sprays
Chefs Life, a line of custom culinary oil blends founded by celebrity chef Brian Malarkey, has launched its Chefs Life Cooking Oil Sprays. Offered in two blends – Chefs Life Original Cooking Oil Spray and Chefs Life Brown Butter Cooking Oil Spray – the line is now available in more than 2,100 Kroger stores nationwide and will be online beginning in October.
Chefs Life Cooking Sprays are formulated with premium blends of avocado, second pressed olive, sunflower and grapeseed oils to create the same popular blend that was introduced in the bottle last year. Flavor-specific details include:
- Chefs Life Original Cooking Oil Spray: Premium blend of avocado, second pressed olive, sunflower and grapeseed oils offer a neutral flavor with a high-smoke point designed to take the heat.
- Chefs Life Brown Butter Cooking Oil Spray: Natural brown butter flavors enhance this blend of avocado, second pressed olive, sunflower and grapeseed oils. Providing a subtle but rich flavor of nutty umami, the oil does not contain dairy and is vegan.

Malarkey is a celebrated chef, creator of 20+ restaurant concepts and TV personality. He has opened multiple award-winning restaurants concepts across the globe, from Southern California and Cabo to Hawaii, Texas and Las Vegas. He was the founding executive chef/partner of the Searsucker and Herringbone restaurants, which sold to the Hakkasan Group in 2014. Malarkey was a semi-finalist on Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars, is a past Top Chef finalist, has appeared on Guy’s Grocery Games and Hell’s Kitchen and was a two-time contestant on the Food Network’s hit show Tournament of Champions. He regularly headlines food and wine festivals around the country.
At an MSRP of $5.99 the Chefs Life Cooking Sprays are available in 5 oz. bottles at select Krogers nationwide. They will also be available online at Chefs Life beginning in October.
