Chefs Life Sees Significant Retailer Growth, Makes Fresh Innovation Launches
Chefs Life, a line of custom culinary oil blends founded by Chef Brian Malarkey, is starting 2023 with a number of momentous growth and innovation updates. Chefs Life grew its retailer distribution footprint significantly in 2022 and is now available in more than 2,400 doors after its first full year in market. The retail footprint includes Kroger, Target, Market of Choice, Haggen, Gelson’s, Schnucks, Kings Food Markets and more. Chefs Life was also in more than 700 incremental Target stores in Q4 2022 with its Holiday Gift Box program. Additional highlights include launching on Amazon alongside a revamp of its DTC website. The brand continues to expand across store shelves, including a launch at Central Market in January.

Alongside its distribution gains for its core line, the brand has developed two new innovation SKUs in the form of cooking oil sprays that have launched nationally across Kroger stores and online. Chefs Life Cooking Oil Sprays are formulated with premium blends of avocado, second pressed olive, sunflower and grapeseed oils to create the same blend that was introduced in the brand’s core bottle. Chefs Life Cooking Oil Sprays are function-forward products that inform consumers on how and when to use the product on each bottle. Offered in two blends – Chefs Life Original Cooking Oil Spray and Chefs Life Brown Butter Cooking Oil Spray – the 5 oz bottles are available at an MSRP of $5.99 in more than 2,100 Kroger stores nationwide and online at Chefs Life.
Chefs Life Cooking Sprays join the brand’s core Cooking Oil Blends, which include Chefs Life Cooking Oil, Chefs Life Blending Oil and Chefs Life Finishing Oil.
