FreshRealm Repositions to Focus on the Retail Ready-to-Eat Fresh Meal Category
FreshRealm, one of the leading providers of fresh meals at grocery, convenience and omni channel retailers, today announced it has completely repositioned the company to focus on the ready-to-eat, ready-to-heat category at retail. The industry leaders in fresh meals solutions are doing this at a time when retailers are looking for more ready-to-eat options in what could be a $25 billion dollar category by 2025.
With unique category experience in the ready-to-eat, ready-to-heat and meal kit meals space, FreshRealm is taking this experience to create both diverse menu options via its team of culinary experts, as well as solidifying its best-in-class operations position to meet the challenging logistical demands and supply chain execution required to deliver delicious perishable meals to retailers as demand grows.
To do this, FreshRealm is bolstering its leadership team with the hiring of three new executives who will report into Founder & CEO, Michael Lippold. New CCO Jim Catchot brings more than 40 years of experience in fresh food as the former President & Founder of Renaissance Food Group and Nicole Desir as EVP, Brand & Communications who will launch a new marketing strategy, including a new corporate identity and logo.
