H-E-B Establishes $1 Million Fund to Battle Racial Injustice

In a Facebook post, H-E-B announced the company has started a $1 million fund to address racial inequalities and injustices.

The statement reads:

“The tragic events that have unfolded during these last few weeks are weighing heavily on our H-E-B family, just as they have for Americans across our country. We must all take a stand against what happened to George Floyd – and the tragic deaths of so many other black lives throughout our history. Together we stand with the black community and communities of color in the fight against racism, intolerance, discrimination and hate. Our President, Craig Boyan, shares more – as well as information about our $1M fund to address racial inequalities and injustices. For those who are interested in donating to the fund as well, you can do so here: http://bit.ly/BeTheChangeFund by choosing a free Curbside time slot in the future at checkout or adding onto any order.”
