H-E-B Helps with Hurricane Laura

At H-E-B, the top priority is taking care of Texas. For 115 years, providing aid in times of need is the cornerstone of H‑E‑B’s Helping Here philosophy, which promises to stand by communities during times of crisis. The H-E-B team is closely monitoring all developments related to Hurricane Laura and each store is prepared to take necessary actions to continue serving customers.

In an effort to keep our customers informed, we will communicate any important updates to its operations on this page.

At H-E-B, the stores and Emergency Preparedness team plan and prepare for hurricane season year-round. The company works closely with suppliers to maintain a strong supply of products customers want and need. H-E-B Logistics team is prepared and well positioned to service stores.

As always, the company’s partners and disaster response team are ready to serve its communities and will work closely with nonprofit partners to provide food, water and other means of support to those in need.

H-E-B will continue to adhere to its strict Covid protocols with response efforts in-stores or in the community, to protect the safety, health and well-being of our Partners, customers and neighborhoods.

Store hours and operations (UPDATED 8/28):

The following H-E-B stores in the Golden Triangle will close at 8 p.m. on Friday, 8/28 and open normal business hours on Saturday, 8/29: 

  • Orange
  • Beaumont 5
  • Groves
  • Port Arthur
  • Lumberton
  • Mid County
  • Beaumont 6

All other Houston-area H-E-B stores are open and will operate normal business hours.

H-E-B Fuel Stations and Pharmacies for affected stores will follow store hours.

Product limits:

The following product limits only apply to these stores: Orange, Beaumont 5, Groves, Port Arthur, Lumberton, Mid County, Beaumont 6.

  • Water multipacks – limit 4
  • Baby water multipacks – limit 4

Curbside and Home Delivery:

Curbside and Home Delivery windows are closed until Friday for stores in the Golden Triangle.
