Instacart Launches OrderUp, a New Way to Save Time and Money

Instacart announced the launch of OrderUp—a new program that allows customers to order from multiple retailers at once. Instacart users will now be able to add items from additional retailers to their original grocery shopping trip and have their orders delivered at no additional cost.

Whether you’re stocking up on hot dog buns for the weekend’s BBQ and need new grilling gear from a homewares chain, picking up some hard seltzers for your beach trip and need to get SPF from your favorite beauty retailer or grabbing a sandwich via Ready Meals and want to order dog food from your local pet store, you can now do more on Instacart while paying less by getting everything you need from your local retailers delivered to your door in as fast as an hour, with only one delivery fee.

Instacart customers will start to see post-checkout recommendations from nearby retailers spanning alcohol, beauty, pets, electronics, office, home goods and more, with a limited time to add any items from additional retailers to their existing order. This will create a new order with a separate cart and a waived delivery fee.
