Jenn Carson of Alpha 1 Marketing Honored at PR Daily’s Top Women in Marketing Awards

Alpha 1 Marketing announced today that Jenn Carson, director of marketing, has been named a top woman in marketing in the Brand Marketer category at the first-ever PR Daily Top Women in Marketing Awards Celebration. Part of the inaugural class, presented by Ragan Communications and PR Daily, Carson and other honorees were celebrated as the female marketing leaders who are elevating brands and products, breaking barriers within their organization and advancing the marketing profession.

“I am immensely grateful to be a top woman in marketing honoree,” said Jenn Carson. “I am in great company with so many impactful women and happy to spotlight my team at Alpha 1 Marketing with this win, who work so hard to execute our strategies that support CTown and Bravo supermarkets; it’s always a team effort.”

PR Daily held a special award celebration on Oct. 26, 2023, at the City Winery in New York City, recognizing these influential women and their impressive work.

Carson leads her team across several marketing functions within the grocery space, where their efforts support New York Metro independent grocery banners, including CTown and Bravo Supermarkets. Promoted to lead the marketing department less than one year after joining Alpha 1, Carson has implemented tactics like launching and executing paid and earned influencer partnerships and maximizing overlooked channels (like Pinterest) to make it easier for consumers to reach CTown and Bravo content. The strategy is groundbreaking for a niche industry like the independent grocery space. That move along with other strategy shifts helped grow the supermarkets’ total social media audience by more than 9.7 percent in one year.

Before joining Alpha 1, Carson managed the digital work streams at a New York City public relations agency, where her clients included PepsiCo brands like bubly sparkling water and Ferrero brands like Nutella, Ferrero Rocher, Butterfinger and CRUNCH. She began her career in luxury watches, from there, Carson migrated to the beauty space, working for iconic brands such as MAC Cosmetics and WetBrush, ultimately making her way to the food and beverage industry.

Carson was recently installed as a board member and secretary officer of the CIFI (Catholic Institute of the Food Industry), a local nonprofit fundraising and fund distribution organization supporting Calvary Hospital, grocery industry members in need and many other charities.
