Johannes Fieber appointed as president & CEO at Lidl US

On Thursday May 17, Lidl US announced Johannes Fieber has been appointed as the company’s new president and CEO. Fieber will replace Brendan Proctor, who has led the German retailer’s expansion into the US since June 2015.

Fieber has worked with Lidl for about 10 years and was most recently the CEO for Lidl in Sweden. He will assume his new position in the coming months.

In a media release, Fieber said, “I am honored to be able to lead our expansion in the US, and look forward to building on the progress that is underway.”

“Lidl has received positive feedback from our US customers, who are excited about Lidl’s unique offering and shopping experience. I look forward to continuing our expansion into additional markets this year, and introducing more customers to Lidl’s high quality products and low prices,” he added.
