Kraft Heinz Launches Meal Planning Mobile-app

Evolv Group, the tech arm of Kraft Heinz, has launched a meal planning app called Meal Hero, a mobile-app which uses taste preferences and ratings from users to develop personalized meal suggestions. Using this information, the app generates an interactive shopping list when meals are added to a plan. 

The app also connects to Instacart so users can load their grocery lists from Meal Hero for easy delivery. 

Meal Hero asks users to answer a few short questions about their eating habits to provide personalized meal recommendations. In doing so, users can enjoy curated meal plans every week with no subscription required. Meal plans are tailored to each user’s preferences: classic, pescatarian, vegetarian and vegan to name a few. The free-to-use app offers filters such as nutrition, price and dietary choices to help consumers sort through the available recipes.
