Logan’s Sausage Takes Over Production and Distribution of Gunnoe’s Sausage Brand
Gunnoe’s Sausage Company, a family-owned business operated in Cifax, VA for more than 57 years, is announcing that Logan’s Sausage Company, a family-owned business located in Alexandria, VA will be taking over all production and distribution of Gunnoe’s Sausage.
“In looking long and hard at the future of Gunnoe’s Sausage, we realized it would be difficult to transition the business to the next generation,” said Cynthia Gunnoe, Vice President at Gunnoe’s Sausage. “When we met with Logan’s Sausage Company, we knew we had a wonderful and rare opportunity for Gunnoe’s Sausage to continue on as a small, family-owned and operated business and a Virginia-made product. We are excited that they will continue the legacy of Gunnoe’s Sausage and the same great products that families trust when they gather around the table.”
Both the Gunnoe and the Logan families will continue to work together to make sure that the Gunnoe’s Sausage brand and product will remain the same. Customers will still be able to find the Gunnoe’s Sausage products they know and love in the same local stores they can today. Gunnoe’s Sausage will continue to be proudly made in Virginia, by a family who is devoted to quality and their customers.

Gunnoe’s Sausage has been providing premium sausage to families in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast region since 1965.
The company planted roots in Virginia when Dewey Gunnoe, the current owner of the company, moved his family to Cifax, VA to expand the family sausage business that started in Charleston, WV after World War II. Today, Gunnoe’s Sausage products are available at most major grocery stores in the Mid-Atlantic area.
