Nowadays Launches Health-Focused Plant-Based Nuggets in Retail Stores

Nowadays’ wholesome, simple ingredient, plant-based nuggets are now available for the first time in retail stores, launching initially at all Whole Foods locations in the Southern Pacific region before expanding into additional retailers and store locations later this year.

Nowadays nuggets have a classic crispy yet juicy fried chicken taste and texture, while made with only seven simple ingredients, including non-GMO yellow pea protein. The nuggets boast 13g of protein and have 120 calories, with no saturated fat and 250 mg of sodium per serving.

Baked until crispy and ready in under 15 minutes, Nowadays nuggets can be served simply alongside favorite dips or as a versatile ingredient in a diversity of dishes. Recipes on the Nowadays website range from a ‘chicken’ Caesar salad wrap to Korean-style sweet & sour ‘wings’ to a classic ‘chicken’ and waffles brunch.

Nowadays nuggets currently retail for $13.99 for a 16-oz pack at Whole Foods locations in the Pacific Southwest region and are also available for national shipping at eatNowadays.com. Nowadays nuggets are also served at select restaurants nationwide, including partnerships at Honeybee Burger locations in the LA area and Aunts et Uncles in Brooklyn.
