PETCO restructures consumables department

PETCO’s Mike Morales and Carrie Ask have left the company.

Morales has been replaced by John Sturm, who has been titled Strategic Business Unit Leader of Consumables.

Ask’s position was eliminated. She has since joined Nike as a Director of Store Operations. Ask joined PETCO in 2009 and was promoted to Vice President General Merchandise Manager in 2011.

Morales joined PETCO in 2007 and oversaw dog and cat consumables and litter since 2009.
