PLMA Cancels January 2022 Show

The Private Label Manufacturers Association (PLMA) has canceled its Private Label Trade Show that was scheduled to take place Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, 2022 at the Donald E. Stephens Convention center in Chicago.

Organizers indicate a combination of factors related to the ongoing pandemic led them to make this decision. “Given the rise and uncertainty of the omicron variant and overall surge of Covid-19 cases across the US and abroad, as well as the reinstatement of corporate travel bans and international travel restrictions, we believe this cancellation was unavoidable. The safety and health of our members, exhibitors, attendees, guests and staff will always be our main priority,” the PLMA said.

The PLMA’s fall show, which is scheduled to take place from Nov. 13 to Nov. 15 later in 2022, is still intended to be an in-person event. Meanwhile, retailers, suppliers and other industry professionals will be receiving invitations to participate in PLMA Global, the organization’s new online trade show, to be held March 28 to March 31.
