PorkRinds.com Kicks Off Third Annual “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” Program and Tackles Pediatric Brain Cancer

Rudolph Foods and PorkRinds.com, the nation’s premier hub for pork rind lovers and home to top brands like Southern Recipe Small Batch, announced its third annual collegiate sports celebration, dubbed the “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” award. It’s a sponsorship program designed to highlight outstanding college football players during the regular season.

From now through Nov. 29, standout plays and game-changing tackles will put players in the running for the “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” award. Each week during the 14-week season, one standout player will be named “Crunch Time Hero of the Week” based on the previous week’s performance. The winner will receive notoriety as a “Crunch Time Hero,” as well as a celebratory swag package and a generous supply of pork rinds to share with friends and family. Weekly winners will post a video on @porkrindsdotcom’s Instagram celebrating their Crunch Time victory.

New this year, fans are invited to support a meaningful cause simply by sharing and reposting videos. Each weekly “Crunch Time Hero’s” celebratory Instagram post will have a two-week window to rack up shares, with Rudolph Foods donating $1 for each of the first 1,000 shares to the Archer Foundation – a non-profit that supports families affected by DIPG/DMG pediatric brain cancer. At the end of the season, the player with the most video shares will be named the “Crunch Time Hero of the Year”. This winner will receive a year’s supply of pork rinds, an exclusive prize from PorkRinds.com and an invitation to attend Radio Row in the leadup to the biggest game of 2026 in San Francisco.

“PorkRinds.com is celebrating Crunch Time Heroes on and off the field this season,” said Mark Singleton, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Rudolph Foods and PorkRinds.com. “On top of calling out the on-field heroics of collegiate football stars, we’re shining a spotlight on a special cause with our Crunch Time Heroes raising money to support families dealing with this type of incurable pediatric brain cancer.”
