Premium Mochi Ice Cream Brand Mochidoki Launches with Amazon Fresh

The New York-based, premium mochi ice cream company Mochidoki Mochidoki has launched in 40 delivery regions through Amazon Fresh, bringing five of the brand’s most popular flavors (Vanilla Chip, Strawberry, Cake Batter, Vegan Mango and Vegan Passionfruit) to more customers across the country.

Mochidoki’s Amazon Fresh launch will allow customers to check out with lower order minimums and expedited delivery times. The partnership comes on the heels of Mochidoki’s recent retail expansions in New York’s Citarella, Morton Williams and Westside Market, Central Market in Texas and select H Mart locations.

From 2020 to 2022, Mochidoki more than doubled the number of mochi ice cream pieces sold, at 5 million, while the mochi ice cream category as a whole saw a 60 percent increase in demand from 2021 to 2022. With a loyal contingent of fans, returning buyers make up more than 50 percent of Mochidoki’s customer base.

CEO and President of Mochidoki, Claudio LoCascio, who has overseen the company’s national growth, said, “As the demand for premium, high quality desserts increases, we’re excited to bring Mochidoki to a larger audience and inspire imagination with every bite through our flavor lineup. Our goal has always been to bring mochi to as many people as possible, and through our partnership with Amazon, we’re able to do just that.”

Apart from its grocery presence, Mochidoki also has brick-and-mortar shops located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side and SoHo neighborhoods. The brand’s products are also available to ship nationwide via Mochidoki. Mochidoki is also available at partnering restaurants across the country, including Nobu, Tao, Wynn Resorts and more.
