Publix to relaunch GreenWise Market in Boca Raton

More than a decade after it announced the concept, Publix announced it is bringing its GreenWise Market concept store to Boca Raton in Florida. The standalone store will be located on the southwest corner of Glades Road and Boca Rio Road and will offer customers fresh produce, groceries and healthy alternatives. An opening date has not been announced yet.

“We learned a lot from the Publix GreenWise Market currently in Boca Raton and are excited to launch this new shopping destination,” said Publix Senior Vice President of Retail Operations, Kevin Murphy. “The new GreenWise Market concept features a simplified environment designed to show off our unique and house-made offerings. We believe our customers will appreciate our curated selection,” Murphy said.

The first GreenWise Market will open in October 2018 in Tallahassee, Florida. Additional locations are expected to open next year in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and Lakeland, Florida as the company continues to look for additional GreenWise Market locations.
