Schnucks launches Curbside Pickup in St. Louis

In a recent press release, Schnuck Markets announced that it will offer customers the option of curbside pickup at four of its St. Louis-area stores and has plans to expand to four additional stores in January 2019. The company aims to add curbside pickup throughout the St. Louis area, including the metro east, as well as other geographic areas it serves.

Schnuck stores that will offer curbside pickup services are located on Zumbehl Road, Woods Mill Road, Clayton Road and Arsenal Street and those that will offer the service in January 2019 are located on Butler Hill Road, Olive Blvd., Manchester Road, New Halls Ferry Road. Schnucks will be the first traditional grocer to offer the service in the St. Louis area. It is an expansion of Schnucks Delivers, the company’s delivery partnership with Instacart.

“We know our customers lead busy lives, and curbside pickup allows them to easily shop online for groceries and pick them up at a time that’s convenient to them, whether that’s around their daily work commute, while transporting kids to or from school, or while running other errands,” said Schnucks Vice President of Marketing Ted Schnuck. “This is another way for Schnucks to continue to meet the changing needs of our customers and their families, by delivering to their home, office, and now, to their car,” Schnuck said.
