Sears partners with Truxx
On March 20, Sears Holdings’ business unit, Shop Your Way, announced it had entered into an agreement with Truxx, a digital platform that connects pickup truck or van owners with people who need help moving large retail purchases or other items across town. The move will incentivize Shop Your Way members when they use Truxx services with a $40 cashback for their first paid move and $10 for every additional one after that.
Truxx drivers which visit Sears Auto Centers could receive 40 percent off the actual cost of oil changes, parts and labor, such as up to five quarts of oil and a 30 percent cashback on paid Sears maintenance services.
“Transporting a dresser, couch or rug locally is now easier and more rewarding with Shop Your Way’s new partnership with Truxx,” said Robert Naedele, CCO, Shop Your Way.
“We’re excited about the Shop Your Way partnership,” said Truxx Co-founder and CIO, Jamie Hess. “The way we see it, your membership now includes a buddy with a truck,” Hess added.
Points earned can be used at Shop Your Way partners such as Sears, Kmart, Lands’ End and at ShopYourWay.com.
