Several Management Changes Announced for Balls Foods Stores

Balls Foods Chairman, CEO and President David Ball has announced several senior management changes that reflect Balls Food Stores commitment to its teammates, customers and communities, according to the company.

Scott Bayne has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer, Gregg Frost to Chief Teammate Officer, Mike Sullivan to VP of Price Chopper Operations and Bob Pearson to VP of Hen House/Sunfresh/Payless Operations. In addition, Pat Rogers has been promoted to Balls Foods Delicatessen Director.

  • Bayne is a food industry veteran with more than 44 years of experience and has been with Balls for 8 years, most recently as VP of Sales and Marketing.
  • Frost has been with Balls for more than 45 years in a number of company roles, including VP of Human Resources and VP of Hen House Markets.
  • Sullivan and Pearson have been with Balls for 31 years and 29 years respectively and have managed multiple stores within the Balls Company.
  • Rogers has been with Balls for more than 18 years and was previously Hen House Markets Delicatessen Specialist.

Ball Food Stores is celebrating its 100th anniversary in 2023 as Kansas City’s leading independent grocer. The company operates 26 supermarkets under the Hen House Market, Price Chopper, Sun Fresh and Payless Discount Foods banners in Kansas City and surrounding markets.
