Sfoglini Pasta Maker Debuts Two New Pastas
American pasta maker Sfoglini debuts two new vibrant pasta flavors: a Turmeric Reginetti, which is created in partnership with Diaspora Co, as well as Kale Penne. The new pastas showcase Sfoglini’s ongoing commitment of bringing creativity and innovation to the pasta aisle, as the original makers of the Cascatelli by Sporkful new pasta shape, which was honored as one of TIME Magazine’s Best Inventions of 2021. Like all Sfoglini pastas, the new Turmeric Reginetti and Kale Penne are made with locally sourced North American grains, using traditional Italian pasta-making technique. The new flavors debut exclusively as part of Sfoglini’s Pasta of the Month Club before launching online for national shipping.
The new flavors include:
- Kale Penne – A vibrant green colored pasta with diagonally angled ends, a hollow center and recurring ridges to scoop and hold sauce with each turn of the fork. Kale Penne is featured in Sfoglini’s May Pasta of the Month Club and will be available for direct purchase online in June.
- Turmeric Reginetti – In partnership with the single-origin spice company Diaspora Co., who sources South Asia’s freshest heirloom spices directly from their partner farms, Turmeric Reginetti is shaped like a ribbon with ruffled edges to behold and complement any sauce. The new pasta is featured in August’s Pasta of the Month Club and will be available for direct purchase online in September.
