Shepherd Boy Farms Welcomes New Chief Operating Officer
Shepherd Boy Farms, a family-owned manufacturer of premium, all-natural pet food and treats, has appointed Phil Alexander as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Alexander brings a wealth of expertise to Shepherd Boy Farms, where he’ll lead the company to new heights through strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
In this new role, Alexander will oversee the company’s daily operations, including production, manufacturing and supply chain activities, ensuring that all processes are streamlined, resources are allocated efficiently and production targets are met. He’ll be involved in establishing and maintaining quality control measures, compliance with regulatory standards and implementing best practices in manufacturing processes. As team leader, Alexander will also be responsible for building and leading a high-performing operations team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Prior to joining Shepherd Boy Farms, Alexander spent a majority of his career focusing on supplying skilled labor resources within the construction service and trade industry. With a high focus on customer service, he and his teams established regional and national divisions within the construction industry, supplying labor resources for the top five home builders in the nation. Alexander’s entire career has also been focused on creating a positive work environment and culture. He’s passionate about helping people succeed and developing teams to accomplish and achieve specific metrics.
