Sprouts Farmers Market Aligns with Four Universities to Empower Women’s Sports

After an announcement in June stating that Sprouts Farmers Market (Sprouts) would be sponsoring 50 Name, Image and Likeness deals for female athletes in the Pac-12 and Big 12 conferences, the company has announced a complement to its commitment to invest in women’s athletics. Sprouts has announced they will be sponsoring season-long activity, as well as entitlement games and one female student-athlete from the University of California, Los Angeles, University of Southern California, Arizona State University and University of Texas.

“Through these partnerships, and after celebrating the anniversary of Title IX, we pledge to continue to empower and educate women’s health and performance, bringing fresh and nutritional food options to them on and off the playing field,” said Jack Sinclair, CEO of Sprouts. “We’re also proud to align our brand with talented, hard-working female student-athletes at these four outstanding universities.”
