Steve Mayer Named Bashas’ New President

Bashas’ chief operating officer Steve Mayer was promoted to president, industry media reported last week.

Bashas’ became part of the Raley’s family of companies at the end of 2021 (https://www.delimarketnews.com/buyside-news/raleys-companies-appoints-steve-mayer-president-bashas-keith-knopf-comments-expansion/jenna-plasterer/fri-06162023-0850/15703). Mayer joined the Bashas’ leadership team in 2020 and was just last October promoted to the role of chief operating officer. In his new role, Mayer will lead the Bashas’ organization in Arizona and New Mexico, still reporting to Keith Knopf, the president and CEO of Raley’s.
