Supervalu makes Executive Leadership Changes

Supervalu promoted Anne Dament to evp of retail, marketing and private brands with immediate effect on Nov. 13. Dament, who joined the organization in January 2017, has been the force behind Supervalu’s recently launched Quick & Easy Meals – a new line of meal solutions and kits available with more than 3,000 independent grocers. She also has brought new direction to Supervalu’s portfolio with a program that launched more than 350 new private label items.

The organization also announced the resignation of Karla Robertson, evp of general counsel and corporate secretary, effective Nov. 17. Robertson will join Pentair plc and Stuart McFarland, who has been with Supervalu since 2010, will assume responsibilities as svp of general counsel and corporate secretary effective Nov. 18.
