Thrive Market Named to CNBC Disruptor 50 List

Thrive Market, the healthy and sustainable online grocery store, has been named to the2024 CNBC Disruptor 50 list. The annual list celebrates private companies chasing some of the market’s biggest opportunities and bringing innovation and progress to major industries.

Since its founding in 2014, Thrive Market has become the leading online destination for conscious consumers seeking healthy food and sustainable products at an affordable price, delivered to their door. The company carries more than 6,000 better-for-you items, from pantry staples to sustainable home and beauty products, including more than 500 under its own Thrive Market label.

This honor comes on the heels of another major announcement for the company in February, when it became the first-ever online-only retailer to receive USDA approval to accept SNAP EBT payments online, improving access to healthy food for the more than 40 million Americans who rely on food stamps.

“We’re incredibly proud to have been named to the renowned CNBC Disruptor 50 list following a milestone year on our mission to make healthy and sustainable living accessible to all,” said Nick Green, Thrive Market Co-Founder and CEO.

In the last year, Thrive Market formally became a Public Benefit Corporation, codifying its mission into a corporate structure and establishing a commitment to stakeholders and shareholders. The brand is also on track to build the world’s first climate-positive grocery store by 2025 through its environmentally sustainable operating model, going beyond damage minimization to net-positive impact.
