Tops Markets Launches Annual United Way Campaign “Live United”

Tops Friendly Markets, a leading full-service grocery retailer in New York, northern Pennsylvania and Vermont, is pleased to begin its annual campaign for the United Way of Erie and Niagara County. The campaign will kick off Aug. 27 at all participating Tops Friendly Market locations in Erie and Niagara Counties and will run through Sept. 9, 2023.

Your donation of $1 at any Tops register (or by rounding up your change) allows United Way of Buffalo & Erie County to invest in programs and initiatives that offer the thousands of people who utilize United Way’s services in our community the assistance they need. Everyone deserves opportunities to have a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement and good health. United Way’s goal is to create long-lasting changes and “Living United” means being a part of the change.

“With the help and compassion of our associates and customers, we know we can make a difference supporting the United Way Campaign,” said Diane Colgan, United Way Board Member and SVP of Marketing and Decision Support for Tops Friendly Markets. “Together, we can build a stronger and healthier community.”

Tops has conducted this campaign with the United Way since 2013 and donated more than $45,573 last year alone. Additionally, Tops has supported the United Way’s Corporate Challenge and encourages its associates to make a contribution to the United Way’s annual campaign as well. # # # About Tops Friendly Markets
