Upton Tea Imports Launches Four New Teas for 35th Anniversary
Upton Tea Imports commemorates its 35th anniversary with the launch of four loose leaf teas that represent the company’s commitment to introducing people to high-quality tea from across the world while celebrating the traditions associated with each steep.
Since 1989, Upton Tea Imports has been established as a national expert on loose-leaf teas, offering more than 400 tea varieties to provide an exceptional tea experience to all of its customers.
Upton Tea Imports’ tea consultants hand-selected the quartet of anniversary teas and will introduce four brand new options in commemorative tins to its loyal customers. The anniversary teas will be released quarterly throughout 2024 and aim to educate and transport tea drinkers globally with each cup.
Launching this Spring is the Sun-Moon Lake Black Tea, one of the most popular teas in Taiwan, grown near the famous Sun-Moon Lake in Nantou. The brisk mineral notes encapsulate an experience of sweet, spicy and smoky flavors.
To commemorate the host location for the Summer Olympics, Upton Tea Imports will unveil a Parisian-inspired white tea with notes of lavender from fields in France, complementing the first scent of summer.
As a close to summer, Upton Tea Imports will celebrate with a rare purple tea sourced on Mount Kenya that, when steeped, offers a taste and color as sweet as the last summer sunsets.
The Holliston Holiday Figgy Pudding and Pear Black Tea is the final tea in the quartet that will be available on Nov. 1. This tea honors Upton Tea Imports’ headquarters in Holliston, MA and is a twist on the traditional English dessert, featuring a rich flavor that includes fig, plum, raisin and citrus zest.
“As Upton Tea Imports marks 35 years of loose leaf tea excellence, our anniversary collection invites tea enthusiasts on a global journey with each sip,” Tanya Falvo, Director of Operations at Upton Tea Imports, said. “With every cup, we celebrate our brand history, the artistry of tea and the joy it brings to our customers. Cheers to 35 years and many more steeped in exceptional taste and cultural discovery.”
