Walmart and Apple Launch New Shortcut for Online Grocery Shopping

The Walmart and Apple partnership created a new shortcut for online grocery shoppers, Walmart Voice Order, available through Siri. According to Walmart, the company is always looking for ways to bring consumers better experiences when it comes to buying Apple products and using their devices every day.

The new Siri shortcut for online grocery shopping allows consumers to add items directly to their Walmart Online Grocery cart after they have paired their Apple and Walmart accounts. Consumers build their basket by asking Siri “Add to Walmart” and then naming the product they would like to add to their cart. After that, consumers can place their order and Walmart personal shoppers will start gathering items for the consumer, who can then pick up the order or have it delivered right to their door.

A spokesperson for the company commented, “We built Walmart Voice Order with consumers in mind. We designed the entire experience for voice shopping to help save time in the kitchen, in the car or on-the-go. We know consumers are busy and we’re here to help.”
