Walmart partners with Postmates

On April 10, Walmart announced it had partnered with Postmates to deliver groceries to its customers in Charlotte, North Carolina. The company plans to expand its delivery service to other markets in the coming months.

Postmates will join Uber and Deliv that are currently helping Walmart test its online delivery services in Dallas, Denver, Orlando, Phoenix, Tampa and San Jose.

“Both Walmart and Postmates strive to make the lives of our customers easier,” said Dan Mosher, senior vice president, merchant lead at Postmates. “With our growing fleet of 160,000 couriers, we are confident that we’ll be providing Walmart customers with the ultimate convenience,” Mosher said.
