Wegmans Tysons Store Hosts Virtual Hiring Events Ahead of November 4 Opening
With construction of the new Wegmans Food Market in Tysons nearly complete, the Rochester-based supermarket chain is ramping up hiring and training by hosting weekly hiring events. Located on the McLean Silver Line Metro stop at 1835 Capital One Drive South in Fairfax County, the store is looking to fill 150 positions in advance of its opening on Wednesday, Nov. 4 at 9 a.m.
Interested applicants are invited to apply online. The Tysons hiring team will review applications and contact candidates to schedule a virtual interview, held weekly on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. For more information, candidates can call the hiring office at 571-423-0707.
Available part-time positions include cashiers, food production, cooks and stocking opportunities. Select full-time customer service positions are also available. The Tysons store will employ more than 400 people, the majority of whom will be hired locally.
