Online and Retail Sales of Colorado Green Chili Brand Accelerates as Owner Reopens Iconic King’s Chef Diner Built in 1956

Colorado Green Chili, jarred and sold around the world since 2008, reports increased sales and distribution of its beloved product. The company first gained international notoriety with an appearance in a feature on The Food Network and is now carried in more than 300 Colorado stores and distributed throughout nine states within stores such as Natural Grocers, Whole Foods and King Soopers.

Since the brand was launched, the organization has sold more than 400,000 individual jars of green chili. Colorado Green Chili is manufactured and packaged in Colorado Springs and the organization holds both an FDA and USDA licensing that allows the company to make a large variety of chilis, salsas, soups and several additional products for national distribution.

“We are very proud of the success Colorado Green Chili has experienced throughout the years,” said Gary Geiser, owner of Colorado Green Chili. “The brand’s success only acts as motivation for our entire team to expand upon our internal goals and spend 2021 working diligently to increase distribution to new states and retail outlets while we seek our first-ever partner in the chain-restaurant marketplace.”

The company, which also owns Colorado’s King’s Chef Diner, recently reopened its iconic purple castle, built in 1956, in downtown Colorado Springs to patrons in September after more than five months of being closed to the public due to Covid-19. “King’s Chef has taken great pride in offering a delicious and unique food experience to diners since 1956 and we are so grateful to the people of Colorado for the continued support of both the diner and Colorado Green Chili.”
